Spam me! Send me your spam!

Yes, I want your spam e-mails.

How to avoid spam e-mails

In order to avoid spam you should first avoid using your e-mail address on any website that displays it in clear text. A good example would be guestbooks (and even some forums). To be sure you do not post your e-mail on such site, make sure you view the guestbook (if it is not public it's even better), and for forums make sure you check the make my e-mail address private option.

Another thing you need to watch out for are newsletters (only subscribe to newsletters from websites you trust!) and dubious websites that ask for your e-mail. Although you are require for many website registrations to supply a valid e-mail (most of them send a message with a validation link), you need to watch out for sites that want your website just to send spam. A good example for this would be a website that wants to give you something FREE or with adult content - many of those sites will also add you to spam lists.

If you do receieve spam messages, make sure you do not click on unsubscribe links. In most cases those will not work, or if they do will also subscribe you to daily spam. What you should do is to mark it as spam (depends on the e-mail software/website you are using) and delete it (most websites will delete/move it when you mark it as spam).
